AGC Pharma Chemicals Europe has completed the investment of the in-house micronization facility which will broaden its service level for customers.

With a feed capacity of 30kg/h (max 50kg/h), the state-of-the-art unit has been designed to handle a wide range of API including HAPI compounds with OEB 4 (OEL band 1-10µg/m3).

The micronizer equipment is a Hosokawa Alpine Multi-Mill, with a dual system which enables wider applications.

The project denominated “Implementation of a new micronization technology for the expansion and diversification of the site capacity” (file nº: ACE002/20/000031) was partially financed by funds from ACCIÓ – Catalonia Trade & Investment of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The new capability will provide higher flexibility and will offer our customers a complete process integration for their projects.
