Pimobendan:
Pimobendan is a calcium sensitizer and a selective inhibitor of the phosphodiesterase III enzyme (PDE3) with positive inotropic and vasodilator effects. It both strengthens the heart’s ability to contract and dilates blood vessels throughout the body. It is used in the management of heart failure in dogs.
